Private In-Home Training

The Grateful Dog services start with a 10-minute complimentary phone consultation to determine your dog’s training needs and how we can work together to create a harmonious relationship between you and your newest family member. From the consultation, we will determine which route is best suited for you and your pet’s needs. All our customized private training sessions will take place in your home with additional phone and email support between sessions.

2-Session Coursework:

This course will introduce both owner and dog to the concepts and basics of positive reinforcement training. The coursework will introduce the six basic cues for your puppy to learn good manners; name, crate, potty, recall/touch, sit, and down. At the end of this coursework, you and your puppy will have established the groundwork for further skill development. Each session will last between one to one and a half hours. The course includes 15 minutes of additional support training. MUST BE SCHEDULED WITHIN 14 DAYS OF PURCHASE*

4-Session Coursework:

We will add additional cues such as stay, leave it, and drop it. Leash manners will also be added to the coursework. At the end of this coursework, you and your puppy will have established the groundwork for further skill development. Each session will last between one to one and a half hours. The course includes 15 minutes of additional support training. MUST BE SCHEDULED WITHIN 14 DAYS OF PURCHASE*
